Food & Drink

  • The Landing  ($$)

    • One of our favorites for breakfast, lunch, or dinner

    • Order the Landing Salad and any fresh fish for lunch! Or go early for a pre-dinner drink in their charming bar area.

  • The Dunmore ($$$)

    • Breakfast, lunch, dinner

    • We love this classic beachside spot for lunch or dinner. Order the lettuce wraps and ceviche for a beach day lunch, stop by for a drink and fries as an afternoon snack, or come with a group for a delicious and fun dinner. A must-go for any design-lovers :)

  • Runaway Hill ($$)

    • Lunch, dinner

    • A family-favorite dinner on the island, this sweet waterside boutique hotel is very casual but lively and has a delicious dinner. If you’re running behind on reservations, there’s a good shot they’ll have space for you!

  • The Ocean View ($$)

    • Lunch, dinner

    • A low-key spot just up from the beach with delicious food. We recommend stopping by for a breezy lunch or cocktails at the cute bar.

  • Coral Sands ($$$)

    • Lunch, dinner

    • The beachside bar is perfect for a long lunch or drinks just off the beach. Their restaurant, just upstairs, is nice for dinner but a little more formal so we prefer stopping by for an al-fresco lunch while people-watching over the beach. If you’re beelining off the plane for your first goombay smash, the best one’s here.

  • Pink Sands ($$$)

    • Lunch, dinner

    • The beach restaurant, Blue Bar, is one of the more casual lunch spots along the beach and is a great place to swing by for burgers and goombay smashes. The hotel’s restaurant, located just through the lobby, is a little fancier and quiet, perched in trees in the middle of the property.

  • Valentines’ ($$)

    • Lunch, dinner

    • Though a good spot for a lunch if you’re headed out to boat for the day, this place is well-suited for a casual and family-friendly dinner. We love to stop by for drinks as they often have American sports games on the TVs at all times.

  • Romora Bay ($$)

    • Lunch, dinner

    • If you’re craving Italian, Acquapazza is the spot for dinner. Their dockside grill is also a great place for casual lunch and a drink to watch the sunset on harbourside of town.

  • Da Vine Wine Merchants ($$)

    • Dinner

    • Wine shop by day, sushi bar by night. A casual place to pop in for dinner, with surprisingly good sushi on the harbourside of town.

  • Sweet Spot Cafe ($)

    • Breakfast

    • Great spot for fresh pressed juices, smoothies, and bowls.

  • Bahamas Coffee Roasters ($)

    • Breakfast

    • Our favorite breakfast spot in town. Swing by for a breakfast burrito and coffee and sit on the front porch.

  • Arthur’s Bakery ($)

    • Breakfast

    • The best spot in town for bagels and pastries, just be prepared for a line on busier days!

  • Cocoa Coffee House ($)

    • Breakfast

    • Located within Valentine’s resort, this is the place to go if you’re looking for fresh juices and smoothies in the morning. They also have a light sandwich / salad menu if you need something on the go.

  • Queen Conch ($)

    • Lunch, dinner

    • The absolute best conch ceviche you’ll ever taste. If you’re not in the mood for a sit-down meal, come by for lunch/dinner for super casual / simple but delicious seafood and unbeatable sunset views.

  • Beyond the Reef ($)

    • Drinks

    • Another spot on the harbour for sunset drinks and casual atmosphere. Come here for the strongest goombay smash.

  • Gusty’s ($)

    • Late-night drinks

    • The best bar on the island to end your night playing pool and dancing
